Jashim is a non-binary Colombian multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal. They grew up in El Choko in Bogotá in the native and Afro-Colombian communities. .
Jashim’s work pursues the development of interactive technology and the creation of environments embedding cybernetic culture.
In 2018, Jashim began to DJ, immersing themselves in the underground Latinx music scene of Montreal. They soon started producing their own music and in 2020 they debuted their first single titled Summer 19.
